Job summary

JWC ACADEMY SDN. BHD. is seeking a kitchen assistant to cook and plate food in a fast-paced environment. You will handle daily meal preparation, plating, and maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards to ensure high-quality service.

Ideal candidates have basic cooking skills, knowledge of kitchen hygiene, and the ability to work as part of a team. Training is available for those with little or no experience, and culinary certificates are a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic cooking skills required or enthusiasm to learn.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards.
• Ability to prepare mise-en-place for service.
• A keen eye for detail and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Cook and plate food for service.
• Daily food preparation and kitchen cleaning.
• Follow SOPs and quality controls for safe food prep.
• Work with team, take orders, and assist where needed.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and proper use of equipment.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.
