Total Meal Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Cook Assistant to support daily meal production in a hospital catering setting. You will prepare, portion, and present meals according to the production list and menu, while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

You should have at least a year of cooking assistant experience or two years as a kitchen helper, with strong teamwork and communication skills. Familiarity with hospital dietary services is an advantage; training opportunities may be

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent education; culinary certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as Cook Assistant or 2 years as Kitchen Helper; hospital dietary services experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across functions; high attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Prepare food items according to the daily Meal Production List and menu.
• Arrange food on plates and platters in an appealing presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures during preparation and service to comply with guidelines.
• Store and rotate food items per approved guidelines; dispose of expired items.
• Wash pots, pans and utensils; supervise production in absence of senior cooks.
