Job summary

REUNION F&B 2 SDN BHD in Penang is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our chefs in preparing ingredients, washing, peeling and portioning, and to help with cooking and plating according to our recipes.

You will help maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment, monitor stock, and notify the chef about shortages or expired items, while following health and hygiene regulations.

Ideal candidates are responsible, friendly, willing to learn, and able to work overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning ingredients.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in all kitchen areas.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver meals on time.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and plating according to recipes and standards.
• Support chef in cooking tasks and dish presentation.
• Keep utensils, equipment and workstations clean and sanitized.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or expired items.
• Dispose of waste safely and in line with regulations.
