Job summary

NTT DATA in Malaysia is seeking an MS Engineer L1 to provide first-line IT helpdesk support for client infrastructure and services. You will identify and resolve low-complexity incidents, maintain SLAs, and log activities in the ticketing system while working in a hybrid environment.

The ideal candidate is fluent in Mandarin and English (Cantonese a plus) with an IT qualification, fresh graduates welcome, and able to work in shift patterns including day/night.

Qualifications

• Diploma, bachelor’s degree, or relevant qualification in Information Technology/Computing
• Fluency in Mandarin & English (written & spoken); Cantonese is a plus
• Entry-level IT/helpdesk experience accepted
• Willingness to work in shifts including 12-hour patterns
• Certifications relevant to the services provided carry weight

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls/emails/chats from customers and route requests as needed
• Provide technical support for PCs, applications, and peripherals using documented procedures
• Identify common incidents and opportunities for avoidance and incident reduction
• Investigate first-line incidents and determine root causes
• Use FAQs and tools to diagnose issues and dispatch onsite engineers when required
• Meet customer SLAs and set expectations for issue resolution
• Log all calls accurately in the helpdesk/CRM system
• Monitor client infrastructure and solutions
