Job summary

Sarawak Oil Palms in Miri, Malaysia invites applications for a Credit Executive. You will conduct financial assessments of customers and suppliers to support credit decisions and manage financial risk.

The role requires a degree in Accounting or Finance, 1-2 years in an audit or similar role, and strong English communication. Mandarin is an added advantage; proficiency in MS Office is expected. You will work independently and as part of a team, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial statement analysis to evaluate the financial standing of existing and prospective customers and suppliers.
• Prepare and present assessment reports for review by the Assessment Committee.
• Prepare minutes for Assessment Committee meetings.
• Ensure all financial assessments comply with Assessment and Company policies; provide administrative support and maintain organized filing system.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior or the Assessment Committee.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Possess at least a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. At least 1 - 2 year(s) of experience in an audit firm, or a similar role
3. Strong analytical and financial interpretation skills with high attention to detail
4. Proficient in both written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
6. Able to work independently and as part of a team under pressure
7. High integrity and maintains confidentiality when handling sensitive information
