Job summary

Ekovest Capital Sdn Bhd is seeking a Credit Control professional in Kuala Lumpur to manage end-to-end credit control, monitor overdue invoices, and prepare AR aging reports. You will perform credit assessments, liaise with internal departments, and ensure policy compliance while supporting month-end AR processes.

The role requires 2–3 years in credit control or AR, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently with high integrity and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or Finance.
• Strong understanding of credit control and AR processes.
• Experience in customer collections, reconciliation, and aging analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or accounting systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue invoices via phone calls, emails, and letters.

Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies.

Prepare and maintain accounts receivable aging reports and collection status reports.

Perform credit assessments for new and existing customers and recommend appropriate credit limits.

Liaise with internal departments (Finance, Sales, Leasing, etc.) to resolve billing and payment issues.

Maintain accurate records of customer communications, collections, and payment arrangements.

Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.

Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or Finance.

Good understanding of credit control and accounts receivable processes.

Experience in customer collections, account reconciliation, and aging analysis.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

Experience using an ERP or accounting system is an added advantage.

Experience working in a shopping mall is an added advantage
