Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years' experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and basic accounting systems.
• Able to manage multiple customer accounts independently.
• Target-driven with timely collection focus.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage customer accounts receivable for timely collections.
• Follow up on overdue invoices via phone, WhatsApp and email.
• Prepare monthly customer statements and payment reminders.
• Monitor credit limits and payment terms; flag overdue accounts.
• Reconcile customer payments against invoices daily.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.
• Coordinate with Sales and Accounts on payment status.
• Prepare ageing reports and collection performance analyses.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts and payments.
• Assist in improving credit control procedures.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
