Job summary

JJ Suppliers Sdn Bhd, based in Mount Austin, Johor, is seeking a Credit Control professional to join our accounting team on a full-time basis. As Credit Control specialist, you will manage customer credit, monitor invoices, and help maintain healthy cash flow to support profitability.

You will liaise with customers and internal teams, ensure accurate record-keeping, and use accounting software and Excel to resolve discrepancies and disputes efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and credit management practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with customers and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer credit accounts and credit limits in line with company policy.
• Monitoring outstanding invoices and following up on overdue payments through communication with customers.
• Preparing and issuing statements of account and payment reminders to customers.
• Investigating discrepancies and resolving payment disputes with customers and internal departments.
• Recording and reconciling credit transactions in the accounting system.
• Maintaining accurate credit customer files and documentation.
