Job summary

Businesslist in Malaysia is seeking a Credit & Collection Specialist who can work with Japanese language proficiency to assess creditworthiness and manage collections for customer accounts. The role involves analysing financial data, monitoring credit limits, and resolving disputes to ensure healthy cash flow.

The successful candidate should have a finance-related degree, business-level Japanese and English, and at least 2 years in credit-related roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field.
• Business level Japanese & English - speak, read & write.
• Minimum 2 years in Credit Analysis, Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Finance Operations, or related functions.
• Experience with ERP SAP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform credit reviews and assessments for customer accounts.
• Analyse financial statements, credit reports, and payment histories to evaluate creditworthiness.
• Monitor customer credit limits and recommend adjustments where necessary.
• Manage collections activities and follow up on outstanding receivables.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit & Collection Specialist Japanese Speaker should have:

• Min 2 years experience in Credit Analysis, Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Finance Operations, or related functions.
• Strong analytical and financial assessment skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage.
