Job summary

Kimberly-Clark in Malaysia is seeking a Credit Analyst I to help manage our AR portfolio, review creditworthiness, and support cash flow for iconic brands like Huggies and Kotex. You will work with sales, finance, and auditors to ensure timely collections and accurate reporting.

You will perform credit risk assessments, set limits, and produce monthly AR and credit reports. This hybrid role offers growth opportunities within a global consumer goods leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in credit management.
• Collaborative team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent with maturity, analytical skills, integrity & initiative.
• Computer literate with MS Office; SAP knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review AR aging and follow up on outstanding debts to meet ADSO targets and maintain cash flow.
• Analyze customer ledgers and resolve balances with sales teams and customers.
• Review credit risk for new applications and set credit limits.
• Conduct periodic credit evaluations and implement credit control procedures.
• Release held orders and follow up on payment terms to avoid delays.
• Monitor past due accounts and coordinate with Sales and customers on collections.
• Issue monthly Credit / AR performance reports for management review.
• Process new customer credit applications and prepare inter-co billings.
• Attend to auditors on AR schedules and inquiries.
• Provide training on Credit policy and risk reporting to Sales staff.
• Record monthly AR doubtful debts provision and month-end close journals.
• Generate ad hoc reports as requested and ensure policy compliance.
