Job summary

Kimberly-Clark Corporation in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated student for an Accounts Payable internship to support the Procure-To-Pay cycle, process invoices within SLA, and clear blocked and GRIR balances in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
• Good command of verbal and written English.
• Mandarin reading/writing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices within SLA of 2 working days.
• Investigate and resolve disputed invoices; clear blocked & GRIR balances.
• Attend to queries from internal and external stakeholders and resolve issues.
• Ensure internal controls are in place.
• Support back-up plan and ad-hoc tasks.
• Analyze and troubleshoot exceptions to drive KPI results.

Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities

The successful incumbent is involved in the Procure-To-Pay cycle particularly Accounts Payable processes and functions. This typical operational role needs to be accurately processed all invoices posting and clear blocked & GRIR on timely manner, meeting targeted KPI and SLA in accordance with the company policies and procedures.

• Perform invoice processing within agreed SLA of 2 working days and need to adapt to process based.
• Investigate dispute invoices to clear blocked & GRIR balances within agreed timescale and have in depth understanding of freight condition & global routing guide
• Attend queries from internal & external stakeholders, responsible & accountable on issue resolution for daily operation
• Ensuring appropriate internal controls in place.
• Support back up plan & ad-hoc tasks.
• Perform analysis & trouble shoot exceptions to drive KPI results and update team leader on monthly basis
• Assist in process improvement for AP projects/initiatives when it is needed.

Essential Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Good command of verbal and written in English
• Proficiency in reading and writing Mandarin would be considered an advantage
