Job summary

Yulon Capital Sdn Bhd is seeking a Credit Analyst Executive/Senior Executive to evaluate SME loan applications and determine creditworthiness. You will analyze financial documents, mitigate risk, and prepare reports to support lending decisions.

The role involves coordinating with sales and other departments to ensure policy-compliant credit decisions and regular reviews of existing customers. Strong communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or equivalent.
• At least 3 years' experience in credit investigation / evaluation for SME corporate finance product (Industrial Hire Purchase, leasing and money lenders etc. business)
• Possess good understanding on the credit on-boarding and review process.
• Ability to adapt and resourceful in problem solving.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review SME loan applications and conduct assessment on applicant’s creditworthiness.
• Analyze business bank statements, financial statements, credit reports and other relevant supporting documents of customer.
• Mitigate risk, evaluate and recommend loan applications.
• Ensure that recommendation and decision is consistent with company’s credit policies, guidelines and regulatory requirement.
• Conduct periodic review and meeting up customer with sales team on existing customers.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to credit, collections and recovery.
• Build good rapport with internal sales team to enhance overall efficiency.

Credit analysts assess the credit data and financial statements of individuals or firms to determine any and all potential risk involved in extending credit or lending money to them. They prepare reports with credit information for use of informed decision-making by the financial institutions where they work.

Job Description
