Job summary

JCL Credit Leasing Sdn. Bhd., a Japanese-owned company with its headquarters in Tokyo, is seeking a responsible Credit Evaluator in Kuala Lumpur.

You will assess customer creditworthiness based on financial statements and help protect our business while supporting responsible expansion. The role requires a bachelor degree in Finance or related field, at least one year of credit experience, and proficiency in Mandarin, English and Malay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in credit evaluation.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English and Malay (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Perform credit assessment on customers based on financial statements.
• Review credit risk for new applications and existing customers; make credit limit recommendations.
• Carry out data verification and ensure data accuracy per guidelines.
• Phone verify customer information including income proof.
• Adhere to credit policies, standards and guidelines for credit judgement.
• Ensure confidentiality and integrity of information assets.

What you’ll do:

Perform and responsible for credit assessment on customer based on their financial statement.

Reviewing credit risk for new application and existing customers by carrying out credit worthless checks and make credit limit recommendations, evaluate and mitigate credit risks.

Make evaluation through phone with customer & all information that customer given, ensure all data is accurate & follow the guideline.

Calling for employment, cv verification, validate identity and income proof

To equip with credit policies, standards and guideline for credit judgement

To ensure confidentiality, integrity & availability of all information assets those are protected.

Conduct periodic credit evaluation and meeting with sales team on existing customers, formulates and implement credit control procedures.

Performs other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or equivalent

At least 1 years of relevant working experience and preferably in the credit evaluation experiences

Proficiency in Mandarin, English and Malay both written and verbal. We are seeking candidates proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.

Experienced in Microsoft Office application including Excel, Word and Outlook

Excellent communication & Interpersonal Skills

Able to work independently with minimal supervision and work to meet deadlines

Comfortable working with target

Full-Time and Contract-basis position(s) available
