Job summary

Mill Optimization Services (MOS) in Indonesia seeks a seasoned MOS Head to drive continuous improvement across CPO mills. The role partners with executive leadership to define and execute high-impact optimization strategies, enhancing oil recovery, efficiency, and sustainability.

You will lead technical teams, set SOPs, oversee CapEx evaluations, and translate complex metrics into concise board-ready briefs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering (or equivalent).
15+ years in palm oil mill engineering, operations, and technical service management.
Senior management or executive advisory experience in a large plantation/CPO group is advantageous.
Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to executives and teams.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken) to manage reporting and operations.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute short- and long-term technical strategies to maximize CPO recovery, OER, and KER.
Review current mill operations, identify bottlenecks, and implement best-in-class solutions to minimize oil losses and downtime.
Champion energy efficiency, water conservation, and sustainable practices across processing units.
Provide data-driven recommendations to executive leadership and translate metrics into board-ready briefs.
Advise on CapEx projects, evaluating new technology and equipment upgrades for ROI.
Standardize mill operations with updated SOPs, preventive maintenance, and quality controls.
Mentor and train regional mill managers and engineering teams.
