Job summary

Premier Hytemp Sdn Bhd is seeking a procurement/order processing professional to handle quotation preparation, order processing from quote to delivery, and liaison with customers, vendors, and the operations team. The role involves production scheduling support, ERP data maintenance, and strict adherence to QHSE policies.

A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering is preferred, with English proficiency and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in quote preparation and scheduling.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with ERP systems and document control.
• Oil & Gas industry exposure is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations in accordance to customers' needs on timely basis.
• Follow up for purchase orders and process orders from quotation to delivery.
• Liaise with customers and vendors on order requirements, logistics and delivery.
• Liaise with operations team on high profile sales order manufacturing plan.
• Provide support on production scheduling and ERP data maintenance.
• Monitor and ensure proper documentation and records; QHSE adherence.

Job description

Responsible for submission of quotes and follow up for purchase order.

Perform order processing from quotation to delivery.

Liaise with customers and vendors on order requirements, logistics and delivery.

Liaise with operations team on high profile sales order manufacturing plan.

Provides support on production scheduling.

Extensive usage of ERP systems and job tracking and maintaining records.

Monitor customer's portal to ensure timely updating and retrieving of information.

Conduct procurement and sourcing activities for all enquiry.

Grow the company by creating new suppliers or vendors.

Request from vendors or suppliers for discount on a consistent basis.

Adherence to company QHSE Policy

Any other task assigned by HOD.

Accountabilities:

Prepare quotations in accordance to customers' needs on timely basis.

Provide excellent customer service while attending to sales enquiries.

Provide technical advice and support to customers.

Perform contract review upon getting purchase order from customer.

Adherence to company QHSE Policy

Ensure all procedures of procurement and documentations are met.

Ensure all communication with vendors and suppliers are properly recorded with evidence.

Qualification & Experience:

Degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Good understanding of precision machining processes is an advantage

Experience in quote preparation, planning and scheduling is preferred.

Background in Oil & Gas industry is an advantage.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Self-driven individual with a positive learning attitude.

Excellent spreadsheet skills and knowledge in ERP systems.

Good proficiency in English language.

Location:

Willing to work in Gelang Patah.

*Salary will be commensurate based on experience.
