Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager to support large-scale manufacturing projects in Malaysia. You will lead cost planning, budgeting and procurement activities, working with CSA or MEP teams to deliver on-budget outcomes.

You will collaborate with clients, consultants and contractors, manage variations and claims, and maintain robust commercial reporting and governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 5–10 years in cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial management.
• Experience in CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) works.
• Experience in advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial, pharmaceutical, technology, or mission-critical projects is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cost planning, budgeting and forecasting for large-scale projects.
• Manage variations, change orders and contractor claims.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow updates and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with PMs, clients, consultants and contractors to ensure on-budget delivery.
