Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager in Malaysia to support the delivery of large-scale advanced manufacturing projects. This role is open to candidates with CSA or MEP expertise.

You will manage project costs, ensure strong commercial control, and report on budgets throughout the project lifecycle. Based in Malaysia, you will work with clients, consultants and contractors to deliver projects on budget, oversee procurement, and support contract administration, risk management and value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial management.
• Experience in CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) works.
• Experience in advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial, pharmaceutical, technology, or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Experience in consultancy, contractor, or client-side roles will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Cost Planning & Budget Management: prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost plans; monitor expenditure; identify cost-saving opportunities; support procurement for CSA or MEP packages; prepare tender documentation and cost breakdowns; review tenders and support negotiations.
