Job summary

MY Face Yalo Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced NPD professional to conduct market research and drive the development of makeup and beauty products from ideation through launch.

You will lead concept development, USPs, and product briefs, plan FGDs, and coordinate formulation and testing with internal teams and suppliers.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, plus a passion for makeup trends and product innovation to keep the brand ahead in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Product Development, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
• 3+ years in cosmetics/beauty, NPD, or product development.
• Experience launching new cosmetics or makeup products.
• Experience in NPD market research, formulation testing, consumer research, or FGD.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NPD market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and opportunities.
• Lead development of makeup and beauty products from ideation to launch.
• Develop product concepts, portfolios, USPs, claims, and briefs.
• Plan and conduct FGDs to gather insights and validate concepts.
• Coordinate formulation/testing, sample evaluation, and refinement.
• Analyze feedback and testing results to guide product improvements.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Packaging, Regulatory and other teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers on development, packaging, specs, and timelines.
• Monitor progress to meet timelines, quality, and launch schedules.
• Benchmark competitors and analyze trends for differentiation and innovation.
• Stay updated on local and international makeup trends and ingredients.
