Job summary

StemLife Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Biomedical Technologist to execute cord blood processing, testing, and storage in line with SOPs. The role involves precise data entry, daily quality control, and maintaining laboratory facilities and equipment.

Fresh graduates are welcome; Hepatitis B vaccination is required or available, with coaching and training provided. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage and wellness programs.

Qualifications

Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
HBV vaccination required or willingness to vaccinate.
Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
Proficient in written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

Execute processes, test, and store cord blood units and core tissues per SOPs.
Ensure precise data entry and perform daily quality control.
Oversee maintenance of laboratory facilities and equipment.
Process diagnostic products and coordinate their shipment with proper packaging and transport.
Manage ordering of liquid nitrogen to maintain storage levels.
Attend to urgent or out-of-hours cases with overtime compensation.
Assist in stem cell transfusion cases as needed.
Conduct general laboratory administration and inventory checks.
Fulfil other duties as assigned by the line manager.
