Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Medical Lab technologist / Biomedical science.
• 4-5 years in Laboratory and able to run department individually.
• Valid annual practicing certificate where applicable.
• Understanding staining techniques, culture methods, sterilization methods and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Receive blood and tissue specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Collect blood samples from patients with aseptic technique.
• Perform calibration procedures and verify Quality Control values.
• Prepare patient samples for analysis.
• Perform biochemical, haematology, microscopic and bacteriologic tests.
• Analyze samples and evaluate results for inpatient care.
