Job summary

FFM Berhad is seeking a committed Coordinator, Farm (Layer) to oversee daily poultry farm operations, supervise work schedules, and ensure productive performance while maintaining biosecurity, welfare, and safety.

You will coordinate husbandry, monitor targets, train staff, and report on farm resources, with emphasis on eggs and feed management using SAP and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Animal Husbandry, Animal Science, Agriculture, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in farm operations.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
• Able to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP and MS Outlook/Teams/OneDrive is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily farm operations and work schedules across farm departments.
• Monitor production targets and support staff through training and coaching.
• Ensure farm produce (eggs, spent hens, fertilizers) meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Coordinate husbandry, maintenance, and operational activities with flock leaders and workers.
• Ensure compliance with biosecurity, myGAP, ISO 9001, and safety procedures.
• Monitor and maintain farm resources including livestock, feed, equipment, and facilities.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording and reporting of farm activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and duties assigned by farm management.

The successful candidate will work closely with farm management and operational teams to maintain high standards of productivity, biosecurity, animal welfare, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily farm operations and work schedules across farm departments.
• Monitor production targets and support staff and worker development through training and coaching.
• Ensure farm produce such as eggs, spent hens, and fertilizers meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Coordinate husbandry, maintenance, and operational activities with flock leaders, maintenance personnel, and workers.
• Ensure compliance with Biosecurity requirements, myGAP standards, ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
• Monitor and maintain farm resources including livestock, feed, equipment, machinery, vehicles, buildings, and utilities.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording and reporting of farm operational activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and carry out duties assigned by farm management.

Requirements

Qualifications

Experience
