Job summary

Sobella Beauty is hiring a cook to support our cafe with high-quality food preparation and service. The role emphasizes teamwork, fast-paced execution, and adherence to hygiene standards in a busy kitchen.

The candidate should have SPM or equivalent in Culinary Arts and at least 1 year of kitchen experience; fresh culinary skills are welcome. Weekend and shift work are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
• Experience in a cafe or kitchen setting is preferred.
• Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to the cafe's recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure timely preparation and serving of meals.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas.
• Monitor inventory and report stock shortages.
• Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with the cafe team for smooth daily operations.
• Assist in developing new menu items when required.
