Job summary

Bold Bites Sdn Bhd is seeking a kitchen assistant in Kuala Lumpur to prepare ingredients, cook menu items, and ensure consistent taste and presentation. You will maintain cleanliness, follow food-safety procedures, and support the kitchen during busy service hours.

Applicants should have basic cooking skills and be able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. We value punctuality, willingness to learn, and good communication within the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent
• Basic cooking skills and kitchen hygiene knowledge
• Kitchen experience preferred; culinary training also considered
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
• Ensure every dish is prepared with consistent taste, quality and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at your workstation
• Follow food safety, storage and kitchen operating procedures
• Monitor ingredient usage and minimise food wastage
• Assist with stock receiving, checking and storage
• Support the kitchen team during busy service hours
• Carry out other kitchen duties when required
