Job summary

K.H. Ong & Ng is seeking a detail-oriented conveyancing assistant to support lawyers in handling Subsale, project, and loan-related matters.

The role involves preparing SPA documents, managing loan paperwork, and tracking critical dates to ensure timely filings and compliance. Responsibilities include assisting with billing, coordinating with developers, banks, and government bodies, and maintaining meticulous file records.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a legal or corporate office is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with client and colleague interaction.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle & complete conveyancing matters including Subsale, Project, Retail Loan, Perfection, Discharge/DRR, Due Diligence, etc.
• Prepare SPA documentation for sub-sale, project, perfection & all other conveyancing files.
• Manage loan documentation for sub-sale, project, perfection, discharge/DRR etc.
• Track critical dates and produce a weekly status report.
• Assist lawyers in preparing and attending to legal documentation and correspondences.
• Communicate with developers, banks, purchasers and government bodies to facilitate transactions.
• Monitor file progress, prepare status reports and update parties on developments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date files for each transaction.
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and issue payment vouchers in the accounting system.
• Coordinate with external parties (clients, developers, banks, LHDN, land offices).
