Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a legal professional to draft and negotiate terms of Sale and Purchase Agreements, especially for sub-sale transactions, and other commercial contracts under minimal supervision.

You will prepare and advise banks on loan disbursement, oversee processes from start to finish, liaise with clients, lawyers, developers, bankers, land office and other authorities, and monitor files to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must have LLB degree and be called to the Malaysian Bar.
• At least 1 year of relevant legal experience.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu (spoken and written).
• Experience drafting, negotiating and reviewing legal documents.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Analytical thinker with strong research skills.

To liaise with clients, lawyers, developers, bankers, land office and other relevant authorities.

To closely monitor files to meet the required timeline;

Requirements:

Preferably at least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

MUST have degree in Bachelor of Law (LLB) and have called to the Malaysian Bar.

Computer literate especially in Microsoft Word and Excel

Fluent and good command in English and Bahasa Melayu including speaking and writing skills

Experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing legal documents.

Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.

Natural leader who displays sound judgment and attention to detail.
