Job summary

Nik Safia & Co is seeking a Conveyancing Lawyer to manage a range of conveyancing matters including development projects, sub-sales and related property transactions in Malaysia. The role involves drafting, reviewing and advising on agreements and liaising with clients, developers, bankers and agents.

The candidate should have 2–3 years post-qualification experience and be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

• Newly admitted candidates are encouraged to apply
• Prior experience in conveyancing is an advantage but not essential
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken
• Able to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Handle conveyancing matters for development projects, sub-sales, and related property transactions
• Handle banking and financing matters including retail and commercial financing
• Draft, review and advise on agreements and related documentation
• Liaise with clients, developers, bankers and agents
• Monitor progress of files and ensure transactions complete within relevant TAT
• Work closely with team leader and provide weekly reports

To handle banking and financing matters, including retail and commercial financing. To draft, review and advise on agreements and related documentation. To liaise with all relevant parties including clients, developers, bankers and agents.
