Job summary

PLM Interiors in Malaysia is seeking a Contract Executive to support the Contracts Manager across the financial aspects of projects. The role involves budgeting, procurement planning, schedule alignment, and rigorous documentation control.

You will assist in certifications, monitor changes, prepare weekly/monthly reports, and ensure timely procurement and final accounts. Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain Letter of Award, ensure favourable terms and conditions, all discrepancies addressed.
• Plan and manage project budget, regular updates on forecast and actual, optimisation of margin.
• Plan and prepare Procurement Schedule in conjunction with the construction schedule; regular review and update of this schedule to ensure effectiveness of procurement in relation to time and cost; assist in the procurement process and issuance of Purchase Orders in accordance to Procurement Schedule.
• Assist in the planning and preparation of the Client's Certification and Application Monitor in accordance to contractual terms; ensuring such application to and certification from clients are carried out as planned
• Management and optimisation of Change Orders opportunities
• Management of Trade Contractors applications, certifications and final accounts
• Ensure proper management of all project documentation
• Preparation of weekly and monthly reports for decision making
