Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable contract administration professional to join our projects in Shah Alam. You will call and obtain quotations, shortlist sub-contractors, measure quantities, review claims, and ensure all documents comply with contract policy.

You will also provide advice on contractual claims, analyze outcomes, prepare monthly reports, budgets and cash flow projections, and coordinate with the project department on commercial issues.

Responsibilities

• Call and obtain quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors for comparison.
• Shortlist and recommend sub-contractors.
• Measure quantities and prepare take-offs.
• Check and review sub-contractor claims.
• Ensure all documents are substantiated and comply with contract policy.
• Provide advice on contractual claims.
• Analyze outcomes and write progress reports.
• Value completed work and arrange payments.
• Flag commercial issues to the project team and resolve them.
• Prepare monthly reports, budgets and cash flow projections.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required.

• To ensure that all relevant documents submitted are fully substantiated, accurate, and in accordance with the contract policy and procedures.
• Provide advice on contractual claims.
• Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
• Value completed work and arrange payments.
• To highlight to the project department on any commercial and contractual issues and solve the issue.
• Prepare monthly report, project budget and cash flow projection.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.
