Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Contract Administrator/Quantity Surveyor to support property development and construction projects from pre-award to post‑contract stages. You will manage contracts, review claims, tenders, and final accounts, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in contract administration or related commercial roles, a relevant diploma or degree, and proficiency in MS Office. Attention to cost control and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years in contract administration or commercial roles.
  • Experience with residential/commercial/high-rise development is an advantage.
  • Understanding of contracts, tendering, progress claims, VOs, final accounts.
  • Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in administration and management of contracts from pre-award to post-contract.
  • Support tendering activities including preparation of tender documents, invitation of tenders, evaluation of submissions, and recommendation reports.
  • Review contractors’ progress claims, variation orders (VO), final accounts, and supporting documents in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams on contractual, commercial, and cost-related matters.
  • Monitor project budgets, cost control, and contract compliance to ensure alignment with approved development costs and project timelines.
  • Prepare contract correspondences, cost reports, payment certifications, and commercial documentation for management review.
  • Assist in resolving contractual issues and support project teams on contract administration matters throughout project execution.
  • Maintain proper records and documentation for contracts, tenders, claims, and project commercial activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience in contract administration, quantity surveying, or commercial roles within property developer or construction industry.
  • Exposure to residential, commercial, mixed-use, or high‑rise development projects will be an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of construction contracts, tendering procedures, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
  • Familiar with developer‑side contract administration and cost control processes.
  • Good coordination and communication skills in dealing with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of QS/contract management software will be an added advantage.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
