Job summary

Kerjaya Prospek Group Berhad is seeking a Contract Assistant/Manager for post-contract administration at Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur. The role involves project measurement, valuation, progress claims, and coordinating with consultants and contractors.

The ideal candidate holds a Degree in Quantity Surveying, is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, with 1–2 years’ experience. Proficiency in Glodon is a plus; MS Excel/Word essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
• Must be fluent in Mandarin as liaising with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and colleagues.
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Knowledge of Glodon measurement software will be an added advantage.
• Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Possess good negotiation skills, meticulous, independent, and able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Preferably candidates with working experience in Main Contractor company.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for overall contract administration.
• Conduct project measurement and valuation.
• Prepare and submit progress claims and progress reports.
• Attend site meetings with Management/consultants/contractors.
• Issue Letter of Award to sub-contractors and follow up on progress.
• Process claims from sub-contractors for payment.
• Prepare final measurement and final account.
• Any other duties as assigned.

To produce variation order, compilation and costing.

To prepare and submit progress claims and progress reports.

To attend site meetings with the Management / consultants / contractors.

To issue Letter of Award to sub-contractors and follow up on the progress.

To process claims from sub-contractors for payment.

To prepare final measurement and final account.

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.

Must be fluent in Mandarin as this role requires liaising with Mandarin speaking suppliers and colleagues to complete daily tasks.

At least 1 - 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Knowledge of Glodon measurement software will be an added advantage.
