Job summary

CHINA CONSTRUCTION YANGTZE RIVER (M) SDN. BHD. seeks a seasoned Contract Manager to oversee all contractual matters across projects.

You will review tenders, negotiate with clients, and advise management on contractual issues while coordinating with operations. Travel outside Malaysia is required as needed. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in QS or Civil Engineering with 10+ years in construction, preferably with a main contractor, and demonstrates strong communication and detail

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Contract.
• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering.
• At least 10 years of working experience in Construction industry.
• Experience working under main contractor company.
• Specialized in Highrise building and industrial factory will be added advantage.
• Able to work under tight schedules to meet datelines.
• Ability to work independently & attention to details.
• Excellent verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills.
• Working Location: Required to travel outside of Malaysia when needed
• Salary: Based on working experience and negotiation

• Review contracts to assure proper tenders are prepared and submitted.
• Negotiate with clients for finalization of contracts.
• Advise the Management on contractual matters.
• Liaise with clients on contractual matters.
• Provide guidance to operation team on all contractual related matters.
• Represent the company in client meetings when required.
• Maintain and enhance good relationships with clients/consultants to ensure client satisfaction.
• Monitor for all project final accounts.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

Overall in charge of all contractual matters in the company.

To take charge of contract review to assure proper tenders are prepared and submitted.

To negotiate with clients for finalization of contracts.

To advise the Managements on contractual matters.

To liaise with clients on contractual matters

To provide guidance and advice to operation team on all contractual related matters.

To represent the company in meeting convened by client, if required.

To maintain & enhance good & proper relationship with Client/Client Representative and consultants to archive client satisfaction through continue improvement.

To ensure and monitor for all project final account.

To carry out any other duties may be assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements:

Knowledge in Contract.

Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering.

At least 10 years of working experience in Construction industry.

Experience working under main contractor company.

Specialized in Highrise building and industrial factory will be added advantage.

Able to work under tight schedules to meet datelines.

Ability to work independently & attention to details.

An excellent verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills.

Working Location: Required to travel outside of Malaysia when is needed

Salary: Upon negotiation based on working experience
