TKR Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Contract Engineer to lead the full lifecycle management of contracts across drilling, completion, workover, and P&A activities. The role interfaces with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and legal advisors to ensure commercially sound and legally compliant contracts.

The Contract Engineer is responsible for the full lifecycle management of contracts supporting drilling, completion, workover, well intervention, plug & abandonment (P&A), engineering, procurement, construction, marine, and integrated well services. The role ensures that contracts are commercially sound, technically aligned, legally compliant, and effectively administered to minimize risk and maximize value.
The Contract Engineer serves as the primary commercial interface between TKR Engineering, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and legal advisors. The role provides contract strategy, tender management, commercial negotiation, claims administration, contract performance monitoring, and commercial risk management while ensuring compliance with company governance and client contractual requirements.
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering / quantity surveying / construction management / law / business administration / supply chain management or equivalent; or Master's Degree in MBA / Commercial Management / Project Management.
Experience: Minimum 8 years in commercial/contracts, oil & gas industry experience, experience supporting offshore projects, experience in drilling or well services contracts, tender management experience and contract negotiation experience.
Preferably candidate that has experience with PETRONAS contracts, international contracts, FIDIC, LOGIC, NEC exposure and EPCIC experience.
Mandatory Certifications: World Commerce & Contracting (WCC) / IACCM Certification (preferred), PMP (preferred), Contract Law Training, FIDIC Contract Administration (preferred), ISO 9001 Awareness, Ethics & Compliance Training, H₂S Awareness (if field support required).
Language: Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
