Job summary

Tech-Store Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Cyberjaya, Selangor is seeking a Scanning Operator on a contract basis to join our Records Management & Document Control team. You will convert physical documents into digital formats and ensure accurate data capture to support easy access to records.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently, and familiarity with scanning equipment and imaging software.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scanning Operator or in a similar records role.
• Proficiency with document scanning equipment and imaging software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing large volumes.
• Ability to work independently and meet quotas.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with databases.
• Excellent organizational skills and filing knowledge.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical capability for repetitive tasks.
• Familiarity with records management practices (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate scanning equipment to convert documents into digital formats.
• Ensure accurate and complete scanning while upholding quality standards.
• Verify scanned documents for clarity and proper file naming.
• Organise and index digital documents per filing systems.
• Maintain records of scanned documents and report progress.
• Handle confidential documents with appropriate care.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of scanners.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure procedure compliance.
• Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples and arranging materials.
