Job summary

Maybank in Ipoh seeks a marketing-oriented liaison officer to service national car dealers and other assigned dealers. You will receive submissions, initiate document collection, and coordinate with Processing to move applications forward.

You will visit dealer premises, build cordial relationships, and engage in cross-selling of banking products. You will monitor disbursements and growth targets for Retail Hire Purchase.

Responsibilities

• Service primarily new national car or assigned dealer as directed by Branch Management.
• Maintain cordial business rapport with servicing dealers and partners.
• Receive dealer submissions and initiate document collection; hand over to Processing for action.
• Conduct site visits to customer premises and report on genuineness and compliance with application declarations.
• Initiate appointment of panel new car or other dealer types for future opportunities.
• Cross-sell banking products to dealers and customers (e.g., credit cards, merchant services) as required by management.
• Monitor disbursement and growth targets for Retail Hire Purchase.

Job description

• To service primarily new national car or any other dealer that assigned from time to time by the Branch Management.
• Maintain cordial and good business rapport with all the above of the servicing dealers.
• Receive a submission from the assigned dealer and initiate document collection. Transfer the documents to the Processing executive to proceed with the process.
• Site Visit to customer premises and provide report on the customer genuineness as well as according to the declaration in application.
• Initiate appointment of panel new car or any other dealer type in the future.
• Cross selling of other product by the Banks i.e. credit card to customer, merchant to dealer and etc. from time to time required by Management.
• Monitoring of disbursement and growth target for Retail Hire Purchase.
