EAST FOREMET CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING SDN. BHD is seeking a Construction Surveyor/Site Surveyor to join our team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

You will conduct precise measurements, set out sites, and maintain detailed records to ensure project delivery meets drawings, standards and safety requirements. Working with engineers and site personnel, you will use total stations, GPS units, laser levels and CAD tools to collect and analyse data, ensuring accuracy and compliance from design through

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in surveying, civil engineering or equivalent such as Diploma or Degree in Construction Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration with a surveying body is advantageous.
• Minimum 2-3 years on-site surveying experience on construction sites.
• Proficiency with surveying instruments and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate surveying and setting out of construction sites, establishing control points and reference marks.
• Take precise measurements and levels to verify alignment with drawings.
• Monitor progress, document workmanship quality and compliance with specifications.
• Prepare site survey reports, drawings and as-built documentation.
• Identify discrepancies and report deviations to project management.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors to resolve surveying issues.
