Job summary

Zalam Corporation Sdn Bhd in Kapar, Selangor is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor (Construction) for a full-time, on-site role. You will oversee daily construction operations, ensure safety, and deliver projects on schedule to meet high-quality standards.

You will lead a diverse workforce, conduct toolbox talks, monitor progress, liaise with managers and clients, and optimise resources to reduce waste. Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years' experience in construction supervision or site management.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety protocols and building codes in Malaysia.
• Strong leadership and team management with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities according to project plans and timelines.
• Motivate and direct the construction workforce to meet productivity targets.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings to ensure safe practices.
• Inspect workmanship and materials for compliance with standards and codes.
• Monitor site safety, identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of site activities, attendance, equipment usage, and progress.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Organise site resources (equipment, materials, personnel) to optimise efficiency.
• Report progress and delays, suggesting solutions to maintain schedules.
• Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office applications.
