Job summary

Oriental Sunrise Engineering Sdn. Bhd is seeking an experienced Construction Project Planner / Scheduler to build, maintain, and analyze critical path schedules for active construction projects in Penang, Malaysia.

You will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and sub-contractors to translate engineering plans into actionable timelines, track field progress, identify delay risks, and implement schedule mitigation strategies; expertise in Primavera P6 or MS Project and CPM/EVM is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Scheduling experience on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or MS Project; CPM, EVM, blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Develop baseline master schedules, perform schedule variance and time-impact analyses, execute resource leveling, and prepare executive progress reports.
• Maintain schedules for active projects and monitor progress against plans to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and sub-contractors to translate engineering plans into actionable timelines.
