MYCHEM INDUSTRIES Sdn Bhd, based in Johor Bahru, seeks a Junior Specification cum Sales Executive to develop strong relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors and project owners. You will promote waterproofing, flooring, construction chemicals, and related products, while chasing monthly sales targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales/specification in building materials or construction.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in technical sales are encouraged.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
• Based in Johor Bahru and willing to travel throughout Johor Bahru.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, and project owners.
• Promote Mychem’s range of building materials and construction chemical solutions.
• Secure product specifications in new construction and refurbishment projects.
• Conduct product presentations, technical seminars, and CPD sessions.
• Generate new business opportunities and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Follow up projects from design stage through construction until order confirmation.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and specification documents.
• Coordinate with the Technical and Operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide market intelligence and monitor competitors’ activities.
