Job summary

ECO Group in Malaysia is seeking a Construction Executive / Site Supervisor to join our on-site team in Selangor. You will assist in interior fit-out and renovation projects, monitor sub-contractors, coordinate logistics and ensure drawings and specifications are followed.

The role requires at least an SPM or equivalent and 2 years of experience in construction, interiors and fit-out. You must be proactive, able to work independently, and willing to travel to out-station sites as needed.

Qualifications

• SPM qualification or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in construction, interiors & fit-out, renovation or related industry.
• Proactive, responsible and able to work independently.
• Willing and able to travel out-station as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project implementation, including interior fit-out and renovation at the site.
• Monitor sub-contractors’ work on-site to ensure quality and methods.
• Coordinate daily with sub-contractors on deployment, logistics and reporting.
• Calculate quantities from construction drawings.
• Support Construction Manager and Project Manager in interior fit-out projects.
• Attend weekly project meetings as required.
• Manage changes affecting progress during construction.
• Resolve on-site issues with site team, consultants and sub-contractors.
• Communicate with main contractors, suppliers, clients and internal teams to ensure drawings and specs are followed.
• Join site meetings, review inspection schedules and complete checklists.
• Prepare and review method statements, material submissions, drawings and specs for authorities.
• Be willing to be stationed at out-station locations if required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Construction Executive / Site Supervisor

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least an SPM qualification or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the construction, interiors & fit‑out, renovation or related industry.
• Candidate must be proactive, responsible and able to work independently.
• Must be willing and able to travel out‑station as required.
