Job summary

EGH International Berhad (EGHI) is seeking a Project Manager for interior fit-out projects across Malaysia. You will oversee full lifecycle, from planning to closeout, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

You will lead site mobilization, manage permits, supervise resources, and ensure compliance with regulations. Willingness to travel and be stationed at outstation locations is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, or related field.
• Preferably minimum 5 years of working experience in interior design, fit-out, or renovation industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from planning to closeout, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Lead site mobilization and logistics planning, ensuring all documentation systems are in place.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, manage permits, and oversee construction adherence.
• Oversee and coordinate resource management: labor, equipment, materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor safety protocols and conduct regular quality inspections.
• Control project budgets, track costs, and manage site material inventory effectively.
• Provide regular, clear communication and progress reports to management and clients.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve project challenges promptly.
• Ensure smooth project handover with complete documentation and client communication.
• Must be willing to be stationed at outstation locations if required for project execution.
• Undertake other assigned tasks as required.
