Job summary

EcoWorld is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning and execution of construction projects in Malaysia. You will ensure technical requirements are met and coordinate among on-site teams, contractors, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The role emphasizes technical guidance, safety compliance, and documentation, with a focus on high-rise or large-scale development projects. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of site experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of Malaysian construction regulations and standards.
• Minimum of 2 years in a site-based or engineering consultant-based role.
• Experience in infrastructure, high-rise or large-scale development projects.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support – Review and interpret project drawings and specifications. Provide technical guidance to on-site teams to ensure compliance with plans.
• Site Coordination – Assist in coordinating daily on-site activities with contractors and suppliers. Monitor progress and report deviations from the project plan.
• Quality Assurance – Conduct inspections to verify that construction work aligns with technical requirements. Ensure corrective actions are taken for identified defects.
• Documentation – Maintain accurate records of project progress, technical details, and site activities. Prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders as required.
• Health & Safety Compliance – Enforce adherence to safety regulations on-site. Participate in safety audits and implement recommendations.
