Job summary

RSM BUILDERS SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Document Controller to manage project documentation throughout the construction lifecycle.

You will set up and maintain the document control system, track submissions, manage the DMS/CDE, and ensure latest revisions are available for construction.

Coordinate with consultants, engineers, subcontractors and project teams, prepare transmittals and periodic reports, and support project close-out documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a related field.
• Experience in document control within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with construction documentation and processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the project document control system, including folder structures and filing systems.
• Manage the DMS/CDE and hard-copy project records where required.
• Receive, register, distribute, and track incoming and outgoing project documents and minutes.
• Ensure latest approved revisions of drawings and documents are available for construction.
• Maintain registers for RFIs, TQs, site instructions, NCRs, and other technical docs.
• Coordinate document flow between consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
• Prepare transmittals, registers, submission logs and periodic reports.
• Follow up on outstanding submissions, approvals and overdue responses.
