Job summary

CHINA STATE CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING (M) SDN. BHD. in Malaysia seeks a Cost Planning & Budget Control professional to prepare and maintain project budgets, target costs and cost plans aligned with project requirements.

You will establish cost structures, monitor actual costs against budgets, and produce monthly cost reports, forecasts and cash flow analyses to support project decisions and close-out activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in relevant construction/finance field.
• 2–5 years of cost management, estimating or QS experience in construction projects.
• Proficient with WBS/CBS, budgeting, target costing, cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project budgets, target costs and cost plans.
• Establish cost structures, codes and responsibility centres for monitoring.
• Monitor costs vs budgets and identify variances and risks.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, cash flow analysis and EAC.
• Assess cost impacts from variations and site changes, support final accounts.
• Coordinate with project, procurement and finance on cost documentation.
