Job summary

Businesslist is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead the development and execution of our compliance programs in Kuala Lumpur. You will oversee policy creation, regulatory alignment, and risk mitigation across all departments, ensuring timely audits and issue resolution.

The role requires extensive experience in payments or regulated financial services, with strong ability to engage stakeholders and translate complex guidelines into actionable controls.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years in Compliance/Regulatory/Risk/Assurance
• 5+ years in payments or regulated financial services (BNM/SC)
• Experience developing/completing compliant policies and procedures
• Experience with SOC 2/ISO 27001/PCI DSS as coordinator or control owner

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and assess organisational activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and address compliance gaps.
• Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies and management.
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across all departments.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and recommend necessary adjustments to policies.
