Job summary

China Railway Electrification Engineering Group (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks an electronics/telecom professional to support COMMS system design, site surveys and project implementation in Sarawak.

You will coordinate with customers and internal teams, produce drawings and T&C procedures, and contribute to reporting and proposal writing. Candidate should have IP networking and optical data communication knowledge, with AutoCAD/Visio skills, and 1-2 years in COMMS, preferably in railway projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication from a reputable institution.
• Extensive knowledge in IP networking and optical data communication systems.
• AutoCAD and/or MS Visio drawing skill.
• 1-2 years' experience in COMMS system design and deployment (railway experience a plus).
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin an advantage).
• Sarawakian only.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and liaise with principals, customers, DPM/PM/PD and other team members for the project.
• Involve in telecommunication design (producing PDR, FDR, drawings, T&C procedures).
• Prepare reports and proposals.
• Gain experience in COMMS system implementation.
• Conduct site surveys on project basis.
• Provide support in project implementation, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and defect liability period.
• Identify and diagnose faults and troubleshoot problems.

Job description

Possessing knowledge of Any ONE of the following three items is sufficient.

Knowledge on PAS, PIDS & Telephony systems. These systems can include SIP PBX, Audio Amplifier, speaker, passenger display screen etc. Knowledgeable on IP Network is added advantage.

Knowledge on Wireless Data Radio systems such as TETRA, MCPTT, LTE, WIFI. These systems can include base station, radio transmission unit, distributed antenna system, baseband unit etc. Knowledgeable on LTE-R and Trunked Radio System is added advantage.

Knowledge on Datacom systems. These systems can include core, aggregation and access network switches, router, firewall etc. Knowledgeable on optical transport network (DWDM), digital transmission system is added advantage.

Coordinate & liaise with principle(s), customer, DPM/PM/PD and other team members for project.

Involve in telecommunication design (producing PDR, FDR, drawings, T&C procedures)

Reports and proposals writing

Experience in COMMS system implementation

Conduct site-survey on project basis

Provide support in project implementation Construction & Installation, Testing & Commissioning, Defect Liability Period support, or tender (when necessary)

Identifying and diagnosing faults and troubleshooting problems.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication from reputable academic institution

Extensive knowledge in IP networking, optical data communication system

AutoCAD and/or MS Visio drawing skill

1 - 2 years' experience in COMMS system design and deployment (Experience in railway industry will be added advantage)

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken). Mandarin will be an added advantage
