FLEXTRONICS TECHNOLOGY (PENANG) SDN BHD in Perai, Penang, is seeking a Commodity Analyst Indirect to lead sourcing strategy, supplier management, and cost optimization across indirect spend categories.

You will support RFQ processes, analyze spend data, assist in negotiations, and monitor supplier performance while coordinating with operations, engineering, and finance to clarify requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in materials or related field.

Responsabilités

• Support RFQ process, price analysis, and supplier selection for indirect spend categories.
• Conduct data analysis on spend, pricing trends, and cost drivers.
• Assist in negotiations and contract execution with selected suppliers.
• Maintain and monitor supplier performance and delivery compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Support cost savings, cost avoidance, and inventory optimization initiatives.
• Analyze and report commodity risks, market trends, and sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and processes.
