Job summary

INITIA Group is seeking a reliable Dishwasher (Commis III) to join our F&B operations in Kuala Lumpur at The Exchange TRX. The position is full-time with a 6-day work week and a monthly salary of RM 2,300.

We welcome candidates with or without prior dishwashing experience and offer opportunities to grow within a fast-paced kitchen team. Key responsibilities include washing and sanitizing utensils, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the kitchen with cleaning and safety duties while complying

Overall Job Objectives

We are looking for diligent and reliable individuals to join our kitchen team as Dishwashers within INITIA Group F&B Brands. This role plays a vital part in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and the smooth operation of the back‑of‑house to support excellent food quality and customer service.

Core Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and properly store all kitchen utensils, dishes, glasses, and equipment.

Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, kitchen equipment, and floor at all times.

Assist with basic cleaning tasks in kitchen and food preparation areas.

Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.

Support kitchen team with tasks such as waste disposal and restocking cleaning supplies.

Report any malfunctions, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.

Work efficiently to keep pace with kitchen and service demands.

Job Specifications

Previous experience in dishwashing, kitchen stewarding, or back‑of‑house operations is an advantage, but candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply.

Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, cafés, or commercial kitchens is an advantage.

Able to stand for extended periods while performing manual tasks.

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.

Responsible, hardworking, and able to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.

Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized dishwashing and kitchen environment at all times.

Ensure kitchen utensils, equipment, and dining wares are cleaned and available promptly to support daily operations.

Comply with all company hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.

Support efficient kitchen operations through timely cleaning and housekeeping duties.

Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and professionalism while contributing to excellent outlet performance.
