Job summary

INITIA GROUP, INC. in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks a Beautician / Facial Trainer responsible for skin care treatments and professional facial services. You will educate trainees on facial techniques, product usage, and client care, while ensuring a safe, relaxing environment.

The role requires 1–2 years' experience in beauty or aesthetics and a Diploma/certification is a plus but not required. Attractive staff discounts and medical claims accompany a dynamic team culture.

Job Title: Beautician / Facial Trainer
Job Level : Junior-Senior
Department: Operations Department – Salon
Junior Rate: RM2,500 to RM 3,500 + Guaranteed Commission

Overall Job Objectives:

The Beautician / Facial Trainer will be responsible for skin care treatments, facial techniques, and beauty products. You will also be responsible for providing professional facial services to clients and educating other team members or trainees on proper facial techniques, product usage, and client care.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Evaluate clients' skin condition and recommend appropriate treatments or skincare routines.

Perform professional facial treatments, including cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, masks, and moisturizing, using appropriate techniques and products.

Customize treatments based on skin types, conditions, and client needs.

Stay updated with the latest beauty trends, skincare products, and facial techniques.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Diploma or certification in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, Dermatology or related field is a plus but NOT REQUIRED.

At least 1 -2 years’ experience as a Beautician, Aesthetician, or in a similar role.

Good knowledge of different skin types and conditions, skincare products, treatments, and equipment.

Proficiency in various beauty treatments and aesthetic procedures.

Attention to detail and ability to assess clients’ needs accurately.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

Ensure smooth day-to-day operations by managing appointments, ensuring on-time service delivery, and maintaining proper scheduling.

Meet monthly or quarterly revenue targets for treatments and product sales.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
