INITIA GROUP is hiring a Commis / Kitchen Crew in Malaysia to join our fine dining kitchen where precision, passion, and professionalism come together. You will support kitchen staff, prep ingredients, and help ensure dishes meet high standards of taste, presentation, and timing.

You will work alongside seasoned chefs, handle premium ingredients, and grow in an elite kitchen environment that values discipline and excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation: washing, chopping, and seasoning ingredients.
• Friendly, customer-oriented personality.
• Able to stand for long hours in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Malaysian citizen or eligible to work in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping and seasoning.
• Ensure proper storage and temperatures to meet food safety standards.
• Operate kitchen appliances safely (blenders, ovens, grills).
• Maintain cleanliness of prep areas and sanitize utensils.

Job Level: Entry level to Intermediate

Department: F&B Department

Full time Rate: RM 2,600 - RM 3,000

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and seasoning ingredients.
• Ensure food items are stored at appropriate temperatures to maintain food safety standards.
• Safely operate kitchen appliances such as blenders, ovens, and grills.
• Keep food preparation areas clean and sanitize utensils at the end of each shift.
• Help with handling food orders and special arrangements for guests, ensuring smooth service during busy periods.

Job Specifications:

• With at least less than a year experience working in the kitchen is preferred.
• Friendly and customer-oriented personality.
• Comfortable with standing for long hours and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as rostered.

Malaysian citizens or those with the legal right to work in Malaysia are encouraged to apply.

• Support the team by handling multiple food orders simultaneously and assisting with special arrangements or reservations as needed.
