Job summary

Mesra Retail & Café Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Commercial Admin to support the Category Management department with day-to-day operations. You will manage system maintenance, compile data, and generate reports for category initiatives and commercial activities.

The role covers system creation, information updates, promotion templates, and multiple reports from Power BI and Nielsen portals for monthly, quarterly, and yearly cycles. Collaboration with internal stakeholders is key.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 1–3 years in administrative or commercial support, preferably in retail or FMCG.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage all New creation (Supplier, Distributor, product) in system.
• Update necessary info in system (product info, Supplier info, Distributor info).
• Create promotion template (input promotion duration & price by SKU).
• Generate sales reports from Power BI system as required (Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly).
• Generate reports from Nielsen portal (Monthly, YTD by Category).
• Generate report for financial reading format (Market Share / Market overview).
• Update Finance SOA report with necessary info for Category Executive action.
• Follow up with Finance for letter issuance.
• Assist Category Executive in letter issuance for Promotion, listing, De-listing.
• Update master tracking list with all necessary info for tracking purpose.
• Monitor shared folder and ensure documents are saved for tracking & audit.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as directed by the immediate superior.
• Remain flexible to support cross events, meeting preparation, market visits.
